Front Cover Photoshoot

The images presented above show a camera angle that is unconventional for a music magazine. Although it provides a perspective that is rarely shown.Neither one of the photos that have been shown are going to feature on my final front cover, I have only used these to build upon my ideas so that when I take the real images I understand exactly what I want the images to look like.

Content page Photos

This image illustrates direct mode address which is conventional for photos that feature inside music magazines. Direct mode of address would be a suitable use of photo choice as it allows the audience to feel more engaged with the image.
I like this image as it is simplistic which relates to Indie themed music.Although a way in which I would be able to further improve the overall image is by removing the Nike 'Swoosh'. I would be able to do this using Photoshop tools effectively.

This image is a variation of photo portrayed previously. It shows an alternative perspective of the way my model is positioned. In comparison to the first image this one shows more originality. The audience will all have their individual thoughts upon this image which is effective as it demonstrates a wide range of meaning.

Contents paper drafts

This is an original sketch that I have designed using a pencil and a piece of paper. The concept behind do this first draft is it allows to identify the layout I wish to pursue when it comes round to producing my final contents page for my Fuel Magazine. This is one of 2 drafts that I will be doing on paper before beginning to put together my contents page using the Photoshop software.

Reader Profile Survey

I have created a Reader profile using the website Survey Monkey. My initial ideas in using this website was to research and gain knowledge to what my readers would like. This survey consists of 10 different questions. The survey had a variety of questions which would allow me to find out a variety of information that would be beneficial in the process of creating  a music magazine and the possible feature stories it may contain.

This survey was emailed to all the media students in order for me to retain information. Although this survey didn't provide me with the range of information regarding the age groups as everyone who answered this survey was under the age of 18. Therefore to find a solution to this issue i posted it on social media websites and asked family to answer this survey. This allowed me to be more knowledgable when creating my magazine.
